PMU: Generation X

Generation X
Generation X

Children of the Boomers, born between 1965-1981, this demographic grew up in a period of political and social unrest. Also known as the "Latch-Key Generation", this cohort often grew up without Mom or Dad in the home and were forced to raise themselves. Economically, times were difficult and this shaped their view of money. This generation tends to have more liberal views on social issues and is more ethnically diverse than their Boomer parents. This
was the first generation to grow up with personal computers.
